1. Delete the data linked to your app
You don't need an account. Each install of GPS Map Camera has a random anonymous ID, and you can delete everything linked to it from the app:
- Android: open GPS Map Camera → Settings → Privacy → Delete my data, then confirm.
- iPhone and iPad: open GPS Map Camera → Settings → Privacy → Delete My Data, then confirm.
The deletion happens straight away on our servers. The app also resets its analytics ID and forgets your consent choices, so it starts fresh.
2. Delete a Team account
If you signed in to GPS Map Camera Teams, delete your account in the iPhone app (Settings → Delete Account, under Sign Out) or on the web at gps.appsinfoway.com (Settings → Profile → Delete account). Teams you own are deleted with their photos and reports. In teams owned by others your membership ends, and photos you added stay with that team without your name.
3. Ask us by email
If you can't use the app (for example, you already uninstalled it), email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data". Include the email address on your Team account or the support ticket number shown in the app so we can find your data. We confirm and complete the request within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Usage events and the profile built from them (app opens, feature use)
- Consent records, survey answers and in-app offer history
- Support tickets and messages, including the name and email you entered
- Push notification tokens and delivery history
- For Team accounts: your name, email, sign-in details and the photos, projects and reports of teams you own (files are removed from our storage)
What we keep, and for how long
- Purchase records (a random purchase token, product and dates, with no name or email) are kept so your Pro or Lifetime purchase keeps working and for tax and accounting records, for as long as tax law requires.
- A daily count of free photos (date and number only), so the free-tier limit keeps working.
- Crash reports and analytics in Google Firebase are not linked to your name or email. They are deleted automatically by Google: crash reports after 90 days, analytics after at most 14 months.
- Photos on your phone are never uploaded unless you use Teams or Google Drive backup. Delete them in your gallery, and delete any backup from your Google Drive.
See our Privacy Policy for everything we collect and why.
